B.Sc. Agriculture or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is an undergraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Agriculture is the classifications name for the farming industry. M.F.Sc. or Master of Fisheries Science is a postgraduate Fisheries Science course. Fisheries Science is the academic discipline of managing and understanding fisheries. It is a multidisciplinary science, which draws on the disciplines of oceanography, marine biology, marine conservation, ecology, population dynamics, economics, and management to attempt to provide an integrated picture of fisheries. During the course, many topics are covered such as aquatic environment and biodiversity; environmental biotechnology; biotechnology for cleaner environment and management and utilization of wastewater, etc. The duration of M.F.Sc. is of two years and it may be provided by some institutes on a correspondence basis as well. The course is very valuable for farming communities along with others. Mostly the degree holders start their own private business vis-a-vis other government and private jobs.

M.F.Sc. Eligibility

  • Aspiring students should have passed B.Tech. degree holder candidates from a recognized university board.
