FASHION & INTERIOR DESIGNING

B.A. Interior Architecture and Design or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design is an undergraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. The course is concerned with the design and construction of interior space in clear relation to an architectural and urban framework. Contemporary interior practice demands versatile designers with innovative and technically advanced design skills to enable working through multiple media, programmatic requirements and challenging locations. The course pursues a progressive and yet holistic teaching approach by design process that is not linear or sequential (i.e. research first, design later) but based on various feedback systems that include skills development, manufacturing technologies, aesthetic judgment, scale iteration, 3D modelling, and evaluation protocols in a constant attempt to bridge academia and practice.

B.A. Interior Architecture and Design Eligibility   

• Students should have passed 12^th Standard/HSC/10+2 (or equivalent Level of Examination) from any recognized Board in India.

B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design or Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Apparel Design is an undergraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design Eligibility

• Pass in Pre-University or Higher Secondary 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized board or council in any discipline.

B.Sc. Interior Design or Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BSID) is an undergraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. The course is often abbreviated as BID which is like Bachelor of Interior Design (B.I.D.) so know which one you are joining beforehand even though both are about Interior Designing and some institutes offer the latter with duration of 4-5 years. Interior design describes a group of various related projects that involve turning an interior space into an effective setting for the range of human activities that are to take place there. Students of Bachelor of Science in Interior Design will learn to visualize and display interior design ideas and plans. The course provides extensive knowledge in a range basic and advanced interior design and business courses. • Those who have completed the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from any disciplines having 50% marks can apply for it.

M.A. Textile Designing or Master of Arts in Textile Designing is a postgraduate Fine Arts course. M.A. Textile Designing Eligibility     

• Aspiring candidates should have passed B.A. and its equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.

M.Sc. Interior Design or Master of Science in Interior Design is a postgraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. The course introduces the students to multi-disciplinary skills, which are related to space, construction environments and aesthetics. Also, the course provides the students a broad idea about education in Interior Design and Visual Merchandising. The duration of the course is two years and it is career orienting in nature that opens many jobs for them after its completion.

M.Sc. Interior Design Eligibility

• Graduate in any discipline or 10+2 (any Group) plus 3 years diploma in apparel technology/applied arts and crafts (fashion & apparel design)/garment technology/technology (knitting & garment) (knitting)/textile technology (textile design & weaving)/textile technology (man-made fibres)/textile marketing and management/textile processing/textile technology/fashion technology.
